YMCA Mental Wellness Programs

Y Mind is a FREE seven-week group program for young people experiencing mild-moderate anxiety, stress and worry. Based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness, Y Mind supports teens 13-18 years old and youth 18-30 years old. Y Mind groups are delivered by trained mental wellness staff at YMCAs and select youth serving organizations across BC. You do not need a diagnosis of anxiety, and you do not need to be a YMCA member.

Thrive Community Support Circle

Thrive Community Support Circle is a Winnipeg-based resource centre offering barrier-free support, including drop-in services, free counselling and wellness programs, licensed early childhood centre, family support, community outreach, financial empowerment, parenting and peer groups, volunteer opportunities, and training. Our trauma-informed services foster connection, resilience, and well-being for individuals and families.

The Nina Project

The Nina Project is a small non profit dedicated to youth mental health. Founded in 2022, we ensure all youth are unconditionally seen, heard, and loved. We help meet the unmet mental health needs of todays youth by providing first care kits that contain first aid supplies, sensory items, and resources, for those seeking non-emergency support.

The Kelty Foundation

The Kelty Foundation, established in 2001 after the loss of Kelty Patrick Dennehy, is dedicated to creating lasting change in mental health through impactful initiatives, such as the Kind Mind Program, which provides thousands of families in BC with proactive, stigma-reducing mental health supports for elementary-aged children.

Suicide Grief Support Saskatoon Inc

Suicide Grief Support Saskatoon Inc has several options for individuals 18+ to learn about the grieving process. Monthly group, Left Behind, for anyone to attend when they wish. More in depth group, After Suicide Support, meets weekly for 12 weeks when enough individuals request support. Volunteers respond to enquiries for one-on-one support.
