Thrive Community Support Circle is a Winnipeg-based resource centre offering barrier-free support, including drop-in services, free counselling and wellness programs, licensed early childhood centre, family support, community outreach, financial empowerment, parenting and peer groups, volunteer opportunities, and training. Our trauma-informed services foster connection, resilience, and well-being for individuals and families.

Cowichan Valley Youth Services

Cowichan Valley Youth Services provides free mental health support services to youth (13-18) and parents and caregivers of youth through specialized groups and one-to-one support sessions offered both in office and through mobile outreach anywhere in the Cowichan region. We also offer a life- and employment-skills program for youth 15-30.

YMCA Mental Wellness Programs

Y Mind is a FREE seven-week group program for young people experiencing mild-moderate anxiety, stress and worry. Based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness, Y Mind supports teens 13-18 years old and youth 18-30 years old. Y Mind groups are delivered by trained mental wellness staff at YMCAs and select youth serving organizations across BC. You do not need a diagnosis of anxiety, and you do not need to be a YMCA member.

Family Caregivers of BC

Family Caregivers of BC is a provincial nonprofit dedicated to supporting unpaid family and friend caregivers. We provide free services including emotional support, coaching, support groups, and education. Through partnerships with healthcare providers, our Caregiver Rx initiative helps identify caregivers early and connect them to timely, culturally safe resources and support.

The Friendly Calls program matches people over the age of 18 with trained Red Cross personnel who connect with them regularly to check-in, provide emotional support, encourage healthy coping strategies, and suggest well-being resources and community connections to other existing services. The Canadian Mental Health Association supports people experiencing mental illness and mental wellness for all in Saskatchewan. We offer programs including the Gambling Awareness Program, OSI-CAN, education resources, and the Justice Community Support Program (by referral only). We also provide advocacy and systems navigation for anyone in the province.
