Life is a journey, it’s cliche but true. I consider it a strength that I continuously seek opportunities for growth, while celebrating where I have come from. Turning challenges into stories, as I do in my mental health talks, is one such opportunity for both growth and celebration.
Presentation Topics:
Depression, anxiety, chronic illness and chronic pain
Presenters are chosen at random to allow for equitable participation in our program.
Samantha is a registered dietitian, mom, and multi-passionate “solopreneur”. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and immediately moved to a town of less than 3000 people in Northwestern Ontario. Since then, she has dealt with chronic pain, stemming from psoriatic arthritis, as well as mental health challenges. After having her first child in 2020, she made a career shift to start working for herself. In all her pursuits, Samantha integrates her experiences with chronic illness and mental health with her education and ongoing training as a dietitian.
