I was very saddened today when one of our fellow babe community members wrote in and explained how she was involuntarily admitted to mental health emergency and was ridiculed and treated poorly at the hands of staff.  She ended up going home without any treatment lacking hope and losing sight that things can still be better.  It is so difficult to imagine that there is anything better than what is in front of you at times like these but I always rely on my security net.   My personal security net involves my psychiatrist, psychistric nurse, medication, my personal education on the subject of bipolar disorder, education of family and friends, proper nutrition, 10 glasses of water a day to keep my body flushed and working optimally, monitor my moods with a calendar, among other aspects which weave together and if I ever were to fall than I would surely be caught.  Being under the careful wat
